Hot, hot, hot!
Hello all, we've been in Rio a couple of days now so thought I'd give a quick update on what we've been up to. Yesterday we switched hostels to one in Ipanema. We then had to hot foot it back to the other hostel to go watch a football match with the owner and a couple of Australian guests. It was an exciting game with the home team, Botofoga, winning 4-1 but it could easily have been more. Today we have met up with my cousin, Wilson, and caught up over few beers. We then went for a wander round the Lagoon whilst Wilson went up to see Christo Redentor. We've just met up again for an evening of caipirinhas and maybe a bit of samba! Will update you again soon.

what have you been up to in the last couple of days? Do people in Brazil celebrate Valentine's day?
