Rio so far

We arrived late last night after a fairly lengthy flight. Our first hostel is really nice, although I did feel a bit old being met with a party after a 12 hour flight! There is a big group staying, but we are told they are going out tonight so we might join them.

We have had a fairly lazy day, especially as it is so hot here, 35C and humid. I think a storm is forecast for tonight. We did go to see Cristo Redentor tho which was amazing (the statue).

We move to our new hostel tomorrow in Ipanema so lots of time on the beach I think!
